ARIW provides and manages a dataset
of around 40,000 academic institutions in the world. The data are
stored in a simple XML format. The data is provided in such a way
that it is easy to reuse it.
One main purpose of this site is to
work with
AuthorClaim.
We hope that this data will be used by others when
they require a list of academic institutions as
part of any project. While the data is freely
available, commercial use is allowed.
